Basel pre-carnival season 2020

Even weeks before the "Morgestraich" or "morning strike", numerous pre-carnival events get the Carnival of Basel in the mood. Events begin with the presentation of the theme and the current "Blaggedde" (Fasnacht Badge). In January the pre-carnival gets underway with incredibly diverse events. Modern performances have long since appeared alongside traditional events, which all attract a large audience.
