In just a few years, an intimate international film festival has established itself in the heart of Basel. If offers room for discovery, poetry and sumptuous images, it shows courage for controversies and the radical. And above all, it is a forum for encounters and discussions: Bildrausch – Filmfest Basel. Each year the Stadtkino Basel and kult.kino atelier are home to an event where the borders between arthouse cinema and the art world, between filmmakers and their audience, are becoming blurred.
