The Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft cantonal police forces are on duty around the clock to ensure that the Eurovision Song Contest is a safe experience for everyone.

Emergency wards
The emergency wards are available for acute medical complaints requiring emergency treatment. The large emergency wards with a mandate from the Canton of Basel-Stadt are located in the University Hospital Basel and the St. Claraspital for adults. The University Children's Hospital Basel is the point of contact for emergencies involving children and adolescents.
