Eurovision Update from Host City Basel

The fourth day of Eurovision Week ended with a new visitor record in the Eurovision Village. We welcomed around 27'000 visitors yesterday (Tuesday). The classical music programme on Eurovision Square also attracted large crowds, with around 10'000 music fans in attendance. Tomorrow's programme once again features many highlights throughout the city.

Highlights in the Eurovision Village on Thursday, 15 May
- Abba Gold – The Concert Show
- Public Viewing of the second semi-final
- Surprise concert: Eurovision star Käärijä The Finnish rapper and singer enchanted European audiences at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 and won the public vote by a huge margin with his entry ‘Cha Cha Cha’.
Highlights at Eurovision Square on Thursday, 15 May
- Pop & Karaoke Day 16 school classes will present their songs from the songwriting workshops. These were part of a public value project in which the school classes developed their own songs under the professional guidance of SUISA members. Tomorrow, the participating classes will perform their self-written songs on the public stage at Barfüsserplatz in the grand finale.

Culinary offerings on Eurovision Boulevard
During Eurovision week, nine additional food stands will enrich the public space along Eurovision Boulevard. Visitors can expect a diverse selection of food and drinks, from local specialities to international snacks. The temporary stands complement the city's existing gastronomic offerings and invite visitors to linger and enjoy.
