Following Conchita Wurst's rousing concert on Monday evening, the Eurovision Village opened its doors again today with a varied and atmospheric programme. Music fans from near and far came together to enjoy international acts, local talent and a wide range of musical genres. Since opening on Saturday, over 38,000 people have visited the Village in the first three days – not including today's visitors.

More highlights tomorrow at the Eurovision Village

Tomorrow, visitors can look forward to another varied programme at the Village. The day will begin with the live podcast ‘Simmer mal ehrlich’ (Let's be honest), followed by ‘ABBA Gold – The Concert Show’ and the winners of the Spring Basel Band Contest, ‘Ladunna’. The alternative rock band ‘Sinplus’ from Ticino, Switzerland's Eurovision Act of 2012, released their new single ‘Who's To Say’ last week and will also be rocking the stage at the Eurovision Village on Wednesday.

Six acts from this year's Eurovision are expected to perform in the evening: Zoë Më (Switzerland), Kyle Alessandro (Norway), Lucio Corsi (Italy), Ziferblat (Ukraine), Mamagama (Azerbaijan) and Red Sebastian (Belgium).

German musician Michael Schulte will perform with his band from 9 p.m. Michael Schulte came fourth for Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2018. The night belongs to DJ MAD&LONELY.

Eurovision Day on the Square

Eurovision Square, which also opened on Saturday, continues to thrill audiences. Over 30,000 people enjoyed the concerts from Saturday to Monday. On Wednesday, the big stage in the heart of the city will once again become a meeting place for music fans of all genres and generations: with the School Song Contest, the Basler Beizenchor and the special production ‘SRG SSR On The Road: Switzerland united in music’, the day will be all about diversity and togetherness. The finale will feature two big names from the Swiss music scene, Anna Rossinelli and Michael von der Heide.
