The jazz festival “Em Bebbi sy Jazz” (literally: Dem Basler sein Jazz, or Jazz for the Basler) has been taking place on various open-air stages in the heart of the old town in mid-August since 1984. The fabulous atmosphere is enjoyed by tens of thousands of visitors.
