9.1. – 18.2.2026 | This immersive Gesamtkunstwerk takes visitors back to the early 19th century and presents the myths and history of Basel – with sound, light and aerial acrobatics.
The year is 1816. Basel is ravaged by famine. Amidst the hungry crowd, two children meet for the first time.
With impressive sounds and airy choreography, visitors are immersed in the story of a Basel that is both real and imagined.
