Basel presents itself in Paris
The Canton of Basel-Stadt will present itself at the "Maison Suisse" in the Swiss Embassy in Paris from 24 July to 8 September 2024 during the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games. Basel's presence includes an exhibition entitled "BASEL. OUT OF PASSION" and a corresponding communication campaign. Networking events are also planned for Basel's location marketing players.
The exhibition entitled "BASEL. OUT OF PASSION" at the "Maison Suisse" in Paris shows why Basel is the cultural capital of Switzerland, a dynamic innovation hub and an internationally important host city for major sporting events – and this out of passion. In an interactive game about architectural landmarks in Basel, visitors can learn interesting facts about the city within the border triangle of Switzerland, France and Germany and win attractive prizes for a visit to Basel.
In addition to the exhibition, networking events are planned for Basel and Paris stakeholders from the fields of culture, tourism, business, sport, education, research and external relations.
The "Maison Suisse - France 2024" is being realised by Presence Switzerland of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA). It is centrally located in the garden of the Swiss Embassy in the 7th arrondissement, in the immediate vicinity of the Hôtel des Invalides (address: Hôtel de Besenval, 142 rue de Grenelle, 75007, Paris).
