Tuesday to Thursday from 7.00 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Friday and Saturday from 7.00 a.m. to 6 p.m.
No market on Sundays and public holidays.
Special opening times
During the Basel Carnival from 28 February to 1 March 2023, the City Market will not take place. Please note that on Thursday, 2 March 2023 the City Market will only open from 8.00 a.m. due to cleaning work.
